Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Epidemiology &
Biostatistics
Designed for those who aspire or require a
greater degree of proficiency and effectiveness in working and
communicating the evidence.
This is a four-topic program delivered via a
distance learning structure (class and individual enrolments) that
relies on student private study, live WebEx class tutorials (for class
enrolments), on-line exercises and subject assessments. The program is
supported by a dedicated program tutor who is available for on-line and one
on one communications to assist with private study and set exercises.
The program is managed on a modular basis with
each module being conducted in a set period with a final subject
assessments on pre-set dates determined at program commencement. This one-year part time program is designed to take 6-8 hours per week.

Assessment of Core Competency in GEvP
If you can't measure it you can't manage it. Assessor is a
validated testing methodology to assess proficiency in the application
of clinical
evidence to serve two key purposes:
Measurement of training effectiveness
Provide benchmark standards for professional
development
Assessor evaluates the
ability to perform relative to a set of evidential proficiencies
including
technical knowledge areas, attitude and the ability to apply the
knowledge
to usual situations and common areas of practice. This university
validated assessment methodology assesses candidate performance for
individuals working in pharmaceutical and life sciences scientific
affairs, marketing and sales departments.
Assessor can be accessed
247 via the Evident Education LMS to either complete an assessment or
view
results. Access is secure and can be controlled in terms of permitted
viewings of results etc. Participants have 30 minutes to complete the
test.
